Index Ventures has announced the successful raising of $2 billion in new capital, spread across three distinct funds. This significant influx of capital includes $400 million for a new seed-focused fund and $900 million for its venture fund. Additionally, Index has bolstered its growth fund with an extra $700 million, building upon the $1.5 billion raised in 2024, bringing its total accessible capital to $3.5 billion.

This latest fundraising success follows a period of strong performance for the 30-year-old firm. Notably, Index portfolio company Wiz was acquired by Alphabet for $32 billion earlier this year, marking a substantial return for Index, which was Wiz's largest outside shareholder. Index also holds early investments in successful companies like Figma and has made strategic bets in the AI sector, including investments in Physical Intelligence, Fireworks AI, and Anthropic.
