Adit Singh, an early investor in Cerebras, has joined Mayfield as an infrastructure partner. Singh previously co-led Cerebras' first funding round at Foundation Capital, which retained a 7% stake before the company's IPO valued at nearly $50 billion.

At Mayfield, Singh will focus on hardware, infrastructure software, cybersecurity, and physical AI. He cited Mayfield's semiconductor portfolio strength, including investments in Upscale AI ($2B valuation) and Lumilens ($5.5B valuation), as key factors in his decision.

Singh's background includes co-founding Neotribe Ventures in 2017 and later joining Cota Capital. He noted that Mayfield's $3 billion AUM enables participation in larger seed deals, with checks up to $20 million.

Mayfield managing partner Navin Chaddha confirmed Singh joined after 15 years of knowing each other and serving on startup boards together.
