German VC firm Visionaries Club is restructuring its investment team to focus on a "GP-led" model for its upcoming fund. General partner Rob Lacher announced that he and partner Venkat Kondragunta will lead the firm's investing efforts. Judith Dada will remain a senior partner while taking on a co-CEO role at portfolio company Langdock.

This shift follows reports of other team members, including Robert Jäckle and Marton Sarkadi Nagy, transitioning to entrepreneurial roles within Visionaries. Lacher cited the "concentration model" driven by the AI era, suggesting founders increasingly seek direct access to experienced operators. He envisions Visionaries becoming a more "AI-native VC firm."

Visionaries, founded in 2019, has invested in startups such as Lovable, Black Forest Labs, and N8n.AI. The firm's move reflects a broader trend in the VC industry, with other firms like Speedinvest also making personnel adjustments to enhance efficiency and adapt to AI's impact on due diligence and deal sourcing.
