Private equity firm Nordic Capital is weighing the launch of a substantial multi-asset continuation vehicle. This move follows a similar large-scale transaction executed by the firm back in 2018. Sources familiar with the matter suggest the new vehicle could potentially house between three and four different assets from its current portfolio.

Digital access management provider iLOQ represents one of the specific assets linked to this potential deal. If the transaction proceeds as expected, the fund's total value could reach between €2 billion and €2.5 billion. Such a large-scale vehicle allows the firm to extend its holding period for high-performing companies.

Continuation funds offer managers a way to hold onto winners when traditional fund lifecycles expire. This strategy provides liquidity to existing investors while giving the firm more time to maximize value. A deal of this magnitude would cement the firm's ability to utilize secondary market tools for portfolio management.
