Terri Herubin, senior investment officer for real estate at the Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA), has left the pension after a two-year tenure, PERE has learned.

Herubin was charged with overseeing a major restructuring of the California pension plan's property portfolio. She joined LACERA in 2024 and departed at the end of June for personal reasons, according to three sources familiar with the matter.

The departure marks a significant change for the pension's real estate strategy, as Herubin led efforts to reshape the portfolio during her brief tenure.
