The Italian infrastructure group aims to strengthen its foothold in the transportation sector through this strategic move targeting the critical cross-Channel link between the UK and continental Europe.

Getlink operates the Channel Tunnel, a vital transportation corridor handling millions of passengers and vehicles annually between Britain and France. By deepening its investment in Getlink, Mundys seeks to expand its portfolio in the French market where the company has been gradually building its infrastructure presence across transportation, energy, and real estate sectors.
