Apollo Global Management-backed ATLAS SP Partners has extended a $250 million, two-year credit facility to Irish fintech Wayflyer, according to Bloomberg. The facility will enable Wayflyer to provide growth funding directly to small business founders through its non-bank lending platform.

The credit is secured against loans originated under the ATLAS arrangement, demonstrating how private credit platforms are increasingly supporting alternative lending models. Wayflyer has already surpassed $100 million in annual revenue, with approximately 60% of its activity concentrated in the United States. The company recently expanded its US presence by establishing a hub in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This financing commitment underscores Apollo's strategic push into asset-backed and warehouse financing structures. The deal reflects sustained private capital interest in platforms that enhance SME liquidity within fragmented credit markets. By securing this facility, Wayflyer can expand its geographic reach while maintaining its position as a key player in the alternative lending ecosystem.
