Omni Partners has acquired DEF Software to integrate it into Infoshare, a public sector software and data platform. This move marks the ninth add-on acquisition for the platform since October 2024. The aggressive buying spree signals a rapid consolidation strategy within the UK government technology market.

DEF Software currently provides its Master Gov suite to more than 60 councils across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. These tools handle critical municipal functions including building control, land charges, highways, and planning. The deal expands Infoshare's operational footprint into housing, infrastructure, and asset management sectors.

Integration of this software occurs while DEF develops Manifold, a new platform scheduled for release in late 2026. By absorbing these specialized tools, Omni Partners secures a larger share of the local authority market. This acquisition strengthens the platform's ability to manage diverse municipal data sets across the UK.
