Private equity firm Arsenal Capital Partners has sold MaxHealth, a Florida-based primary care provider, to Humana's CenterWell division. The transaction marks another strategic move by Humana to expand its senior-focused healthcare footprint through acquisition.

MaxHealth operates a network of 54 owned primary care clinics, four specialty/ancillary clinics, and 24 affiliate locations across Florida. The company has built a presence serving Medicare and Medicare Advantage patients, making it an attractive target for Humana's CenterWell, which focuses on senior care services including primary care, home health, and senior living communities.

While financial terms weren't disclosed, the deal aligns with CenterWell's strategy of acquiring established primary care practices to strengthen its integrated care model. Humana has been aggressively expanding CenterWell's reach through similar acquisitions, betting on the growing demand for coordinated care services for aging populations. The acquisition positions CenterWell to leverage MaxHealth's existing provider network and patient relationships in Florida's competitive healthcare market.
