HBS, a Wisconsin-based IT services provider backed by GenNx360 Capital Partners, has acquired Applied Tech Solutions, a Madison, Wisconsin-focused managed IT and cybersecurity firm. The deal marks HBS's first acquisition since GenNx360 acquired the platform in October 2025. Applied Tech, which serves commercial and public sector clients across the Midwest and Rocky Mountain regions, will operate under HBS with CEO Daniel Petersen retaining a senior vice president role overseeing service platforms.

This strategic move expands HBS's footprint in critical IT infrastructure markets while leveraging Applied Tech's expertise in cybersecurity solutions.
