The financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed. Velocity One, headquartered in Hoboken, New Jersey, operates as an aerospace and defense platform that unites specialized companies in power systems, navigation, and precision-engineered components.

Kaney Aerospace brings advanced power solutions for both aerospace and medical applications to Velocity One's portfolio. Jeffrey J. Kaney, Sr. continues as CEO of the company following the acquisition. The acquisition represents a strategic expansion of Velocity One's capabilities in motion control and actuation technologies, areas that complement the platform's existing offerings.

RBC Capital Markets is serving as sellside financial advisor to Kaney Aerospace, while Foley & Lardner LLP provides legal counsel to Velocity One. This marks another step in Velocity One's growth strategy under Charlesbank Capital Partners' ownership, building on the platform's foundation established over the past year.
