Catchment Capital has agreed to acquire Isolatek International, a Stanhope, New Jersey-based manufacturer of fireproofing technologies, from SK Capital. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, marking another strategic move for the private equity firm. Isolatek, founded in 1875, brings decades of expertise in fire protection solutions to Catchment's portfolio.

SK Capital is divesting the company as part of its portfolio optimization strategy. While financial terms were not disclosed, the acquisition aligns with Catchment's focus on companies positioned to capitalize on dynamic industry growth trends. Alex Rose, founder and managing partner at Catchment, described Isolatek as a "terrific addition" to their growing portfolio of industrial companies.

The deal underscores the ongoing consolidation in the fireproofing and construction materials sector. With over 140 years of history, Isolatek's established market position and technical capabilities make it an attractive target for private equity investment. The acquisition is expected to provide Isolatek with additional resources to expand its product offerings and market reach under Catchment's ownership.
