BNPP AM Prime, led by CEO Pascal Christory, is positioning itself to capture a share of the European GP stakes market. After closing its first dedicated fund, Prime Capital Partners I, at €540 million—surpassing the €400 million target—Christory says the firm sees significant upside as European GPs grow.

With an estimated 500 mid‑market GPs managing €1–10 billion in equity and €5–20 billion in debt, Christory estimates the total addressable market at €200 billion of enterprise value, yet financing from GP stakers remains below €1 billion.

Christory notes the U.S. outpaces Europe, citing that firms like Blue Owl Capital have raised $10.6 billion for their flagship GP stakes vehicle. The gap has spurred BNPP AM Prime to target 10–12 investments per fund, leaving 3–5 to deploy in the current vintage.

Meanwhile, Providence Equity Partners announced it will acquire Hometrack, a UK‑Netherlands provider of residential real‑estate valuation and risk data. The deal will support Hometrack’s management team and platform, which serves 16 of the top 20 UK mortgage lenders and all 14 top Dutch lenders, positioning it for long‑term growth.
