Artificial intelligence and cybersecurity infrastructure startups captured significant investor attention this week, with two companies each raising $1 billion in large funding rounds. Keyfactor, a cybersecurity firm specializing in digital identity management, secured its massive private equity round led by Summit Partners. Simultaneously, AI chip developer Samba Nova announced its $1 billion Series F at an $11 billion post-money valuation, backed by a consortium including General Atlantic and Qatar Investment Authority.

Beyond these mega-rounds, the venture funding landscape showed continued interest in emerging technologies. Quantum computing startup Oratomic raised a $300 million Series A co-led by Arch Venture Partners, Khosla Ventures, and Spark Capital. Clean energy also saw a substantial investment, with Quaise Energy securing $134 million for its geothermal drilling technology. AI infrastructure player Prime Intellect closed a $130 million Series A, attracting investment from prominent tech figures and corporate VCs.
