Apollo has launched a £5.7bn recommended offer to take easy Jet private in a landmark European deal. Bernhard Capital agreed to acquire Bowman Consulting for $1bn, including a 35-day go-shop period. New Mountain will purchase fire safety specialist Jensen Hughes from Gryphon, adding compliance-driven engineering services.

Infrastructure and Real Assets

CPP Investments committed approximately $143m for a 49.5% stake in two landmark Hilton hotels in Brazil, partnering with HSI. StepStone surpassed $20bn in private wealth AUM, with its SPRING vehicle attracting nearly $1.7bn in subscriptions last quarter. Private equity dealflow hit its worst Q2 since 2020, while VSS took a minority stake in Cordoba amid a generational infrastructure reinvestment.

Strategic and Regional Plays

KKR closed a strategic equity investment in Crowe Advisory, the tax and advisory arm of one of the largest global accounting networks. Provectus Capital made its Romanian debut by acquiring a majority stake in Seatbelt Consulting, the country's largest occupational health and safety provider.
