Leaker pdfu has shared a deeper look at the iPhone Duo's StandBy mode running on iOS 27, revealing five previously unknown faces not shown in Apple's marketing materials. The new faces include a Home Camera view supporting single feeds or grids of up to nine cameras, a Home Modular option for smart home controls, and a Snoopy-themed face. Additional faces named Flow (with potential animations) and Fade (details unknown) were also discovered.

Apple's marketing materials previously showcased faces including Analog, Digital, Classic Calendar, Weather, Photos, Memories, Shared Albums, and Modular. The Rushmore app, intended to host the redesigned faces, is missing from the iOS 27.1 simulator, but its localization strings revealed the unreported faces.

A face editor will allow users to customize the StandBy interface with different styles and colors, similar to existing iPhone StandBy customization. Swipe gestures enable quick visual adjustments. Users can choose from five widget layouts for compatible clock faces: StandBy, Stacked, Top, Middle, and Bottom.

The iPhone Duo goes up for pre-order on October 16 ahead of its October 23 launch, with more details expected as the release date approaches.
