As promised last week, Lava has today made the Virat Curve fully official. The smartphone comes with a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with 1080x2400 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,100-nit peak brightness. It's powered by the Media Tek Dimensity 7100 So C, paired with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The phone has a 50MP rear camera using Sony's IMX752 sensor, and a 13MP front camera. Keeping the lights on is a 6,000 m Ah battery with support for 45W wired charging. A 33W charger is included in the box.

The device is IP64-rated for dust and splash resistance, it has dual speakers, dual mics, an IR blaster, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Lava Virat Curve official images The Virat Curve runs "clean Android 16", which is promised to come with no bloatware, no ads, and no notification ads. The company says it will issue two major OS upgrades and will provide three years of security updates for the handset.

The Virat Curve will be available on September 28 in Heritage Indigo, Makrana Ivory, and Ellora Slate, for a special launch price of INR 19,999 (about $208).
