Norwich continued their climb up the Championship table with a 2-1 home win over Birmingham. First-half goals from Oscar Schwartau and Papa Diallo gave the Canaries a comfortable lead, before Birmingham pulled one back through Carlos Vicente after the break. The visitors had a late chance to equalize but Vicente wasted a glorious opportunity.

The win marked Norwich's third victory in four league games, while Birmingham suffered their first league defeat of the season.
