Ryan Christie scored a hat-trick to give new Bournemouth manager Marco Rose his first win in charge as the Cherries swept aside Lincoln 4-0 in the Carabao Cup. Scotland international Christie found the net in the seventh, 69th, and 88th minutes, marking his second career hat-trick. Rayan completed the scoring in stoppage time.

Rose handed debuts to on-loan Juventus goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio and striker Alvaro Rodriguez, while only Ryley Towler kept his place for Lincoln. Bournemouth dominated possession, with Christie opening the scoring early before adding two more goals after the break. Lincoln goalkeeper Joe Gauci made several saves, but could not prevent the defeat.

The victory eases pressure on Rose, who had won just two points from his opening three Premier League games.
