Lautaro Martínez scored a stoppage-time winner as Inter Milan came from two down to beat Napoli 3-2, maintaining their perfect start to the new Serie A season. Napoli, with former AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri back at San Siro, looked in control after Matteo Politano and Rasmus Højlund scored two goals in five minutes early in the second half. Martínez started the fightback before Marcus Thuram headed an equaliser with eight minutes left.

The Inter captain then snatched victory in added time after Napoli failed to clear a corner. The winning effort was Martínez's 134th goal for Inter, taking him past Stefano Nyers for third place on Inter's all-time list. It also gave Inter a third Serie A win from two goals down in 2026, the most of any team in Europe's top five leagues.

Napoli broke the deadlock five minutes into the second half after Inter were caught playing out from the back, with Politano and Højlund both finding the net. Inter sparked into life in the 56th minute when Federico Dimarco cut the ball back for Martínez to stab home. Thuram then nodded in a cross from Carlos Augusto with eight minutes left before Martínez completed the turnaround in stoppage time.
