Yuna Nishimura secured her first LPGA Tour victory at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, finishing with a three-day total of 21-under 192 at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas. After leading by five shots entering the final round, Nishimura shot a 5-under 66 on Sunday, highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 14th hole. She held off a strong charge from fellow Japanese player Aki Iwai, who shot a bogey-free 62 and tied for second with Chanettee Wannasaen and In Gee Chun.

Lauren Coughlin, who opened with nine straight birdies on Saturday, finished tied for 12th. Lottie Woad withdrew due to illness. Two holes-in-one were recorded Sunday: Yealimi Noh aced the 15th hole with a 9-iron, and Mao Saigo holed a 7-iron on the third.

Nishimura, a six-time winner on the Japan LPGA, expressed disbelief and pride in her breakthrough LPGA win.
