The Minnesota Vikings signed quarterback Carson Wentz to a one-year contract Thursday, immediately bolstering their depth chart ahead of a critical season where stability at the position is paramount. This move comes as analysts continue to assess high-impact transactions across the league, with only 16 total signings and trades from the recent free agency period receiving an 'A' grade from evaluators. Meanwhile, teams like the Washington Commanders still seek key reinforcements, specifically targeting needs at the receiver, corner, and center positions, suggesting further shuffling before training camps commence.
