Buffalo also caught a break on the injury front, as a long week will give more time for defensive lineman Ed Oliver (hip) and others to heal following the win.

The future of Pittsburgh's No. 1 cornerback with the team he grew up around remains very much in doubt, and those close to the situation say they don't know if Joey Porter Jr. ever puts on a Steelers uniform again amid a contract standoff. It is a stunning turn for a player who once seemed destined to anchor the secondary for years.

Week 2 Injury Report Shakes Up Lineups

The Texans have ruled star wide receiver Nico Collins out for Sunday's matchup against the Bengals because of a hamstring injury, a significant blow to Houston's passing attack. Baltimore receiver Zay Flowers is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Saints after hardly practicing, and the Ravens will also be without defensive lineman Justin Madubuike. In Las Vegas, tight end Brock Bowers is doubtful to play against the Chargers, though the Raiders will still get him back on the practice field. Donald himself said Friday that "the plan" is to play Monday night, though receiver Puka Nacua sat out practice. Los Angeles also got a lighter moment when coach Sean McVay said he hopes the Rams avoid future Australia trips "ever again" after a lackluster season-opening performance abroad.

The Falcons will start quarterback Cooper Rush for the second straight week against the Panthers, with Michael Penix Jr. not yet ready. In Minnesota, Carson Wentz will be the Vikings' starting quarterback Sunday against the Bears while Kyler Murray continues to mend.
