NFL Team & Player Developments
The Seattle Seahawks secured flexibility for two key young players by exercising the fifth-year options on wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba and top cornerback Devon Witherspoon, locking in cost-controlled salaries through the 2025 season. Elsewhere in the AFC South, Titans quarterback Cam Ward demonstrated early locker-room cohesion by interrupting new wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson's introductory press conference to offer immediate public backing. Meanwhile, Tom Brady’s performance in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic saw him start strong before Team USA secured a dominant victory in the exhibition game Saturday.
