Bridgepoint Growth has completed a majority investment in VIPR Solutions, a London-based insurance data platform founded in 2009. VIPR facilitates the exchange of program business data in the insurance market, processing around 500,000 bordereaux annually—representing about $12 billion of gross written premium across a base of blue-chip customers. The platform serves managing general agents, cover holders, brokers, fronting carriers, reinsurers, and third-party administrators by helping process bordereaux, the data files used to record risks, premiums, and claims.

Mayank Kanga, partner at Bridgepoint, stated that VIPR has built a differentiated position in a large, growing market, combining deep insurance domain expertise with mission-critical technology. Over the past decade, VIPR expanded from a single bordereaux-processing tool into an end-to-end data and workflow platform. Bridgepoint's investment will fund continued platform development, AI scaling, and international expansion.

In other deals, KKR sold its 10 percent minority stake in Nordic Bioscience to founder Claus Christiansen. The Danish biotech company, based in Herlev, develops blood-based biomarkers with a portfolio of over 150 markers for conditions like liver disease, cancer, and obesity. KKR, which invested in 2021, noted the company doubled revenue during its ownership.

Energy metering was also in focus, with Magnesium Capital acquiring a smart meter business to support energy efficiency initiatives.
