The newly announced Xiaomi 18 Fold joins the passport-sized foldable trend, building on its IFA 2026 reveal. Weighing 219 grams, it sits in the same class as the Xiaomi 17 Ultra but is 18 grams heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, yet remains slim at just over 5mm unfolded. The 7.58-inch folding display offers a 2:1 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 4,000 nits brightness, with a barely noticeable crease.

The 5.38-inch cover screen shares the same specs but has pronounced curvature on the right side. Powered by the Xring O3 chip with 12GB RAM, the device feels smooth in daily use. The triple camera setup includes a 200MP main shooter, 50MP ultrawide, and 3.5x telephoto (50MP), giving it an edge over the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8.

A 6,000 mAh Si C battery supports 67W wired and 50W wireless charging. However, the Xiaomi 18 Fold will be exclusive to China, limiting its global reach.
