Samsung has rolled out the One UI 9 beta update for the Galaxy A55. The update requires a download of over 2GB and comes with firmware versions ending in ZZI1/EZI1 in South Korea and ZZI1/EZI2 in India. It also includes the September 2026 security patch. To try One UI 9 beta on the Galaxy A55 before the stable release, users must enroll in the One UI 9 Beta program through the Samsung Members app and navigate to Settings > Software update to check for the update. Samsung has not announced a release date for the stable One UI 9 build for the Galaxy A55. In the meantime, a video showcasing new features in One UI 9 is available for viewing.

The Galaxy A55 remains a popular mid-range device, with pricing listed at €255.93 for the 128GB 8GB RAM model and ₹44,999 for the 256GB variant. The device features 128GB or 256GB storage options with 8GB of RAM.
