Google has begun rolling out Google Pics, a new image generation and editing service distinct from Google Photos or Google Images. The tool offers a suite of fine-tuned capabilities for creating images and making precise edits directly within Google Workspace apps, including Docs, Slides, and Drive. Integration with Docs and Slides starts today, while Drive support will arrive in the coming weeks.

The service utilizes Nano Banana technology, though the specific version remains undisclosed. Access is currently limited to Google AI Pro and Google AI Ultra subscribers, as well as most Google Workspace business customers. The full rollout is expected to continue over the coming weeks.
