Samsung began rolling out One UI 9 to the Galaxy S26 series yesterday, but the global press release omitted timelines for older models. Samsung Thailand provided specifics: the Galaxy S25 series and Galaxy Z7 foldables will receive One UI 9 on September 28. Eligible devices include the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Edge, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy Z Fold7, and Galaxy Z Flip7.

The press release also states the Galaxy S23 FE will get the update by October, marking its fourth and final major OS upgrade since launching with Android 13. Other Galaxy S23 models are expected to follow, though not explicitly named. The Galaxy S22 series has already received its last major update (Android 16/One UI 8) but continues to receive quarterly security patches.
