Amazon just unveiled a slimmer and faster Fire TV Stick 4K (2026) and a new Amazon Fire TV Remote. The stick is 20%-40% faster than similarly priced 4K sticks from other brands, says Amazon. Pricing is $60, but you can get it for $30 during Prime Big Deal Days.

The new stick is powered by a quad-core 1.7GHz processor with 8GB storage, supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and decodes 4K at 60fps with H.264, H.265, VP9, and AV1 codecs. It supports HDR10, HDR10+, and HLG but lacks Dolby Vision. Notably, it runs the new Vega OS instead of Android-based Fire OS. Amazon says over 2,000 apps are available, including Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, Prime Video, HBO Max, and even Instagram.

The new remote has a flat top and weighted bottom, a metal Home button for easy touch finding, and a Star button that can be assigned to a favorite app or feature like closed captioning. The Fire TV Stick 4K (2026) is available now in the US, Canada, Japan, Mexico, the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and Australia, with more markets next month. The remote is sold separately for $15 and works with Fire TV devices from 2019 onward.
