Capcom is bringing its acclaimed Resident Evil remakes to the Nintendo Switch 2 on October 16. The lineup includes the 2019 remake of Resident Evil 2, along with the remakes of Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 4, all bundled with their DLC. For RE4, that includes the Separate Ways expansion, which tells the story from Ada Wong's perspective.

These releases follow a strong year for Capcom, which already launched Resident Evil Requiem, Pragmata, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword in 2026. The Switch 2 versions will let players enjoy two of the best games in the series on the go, with over 19 million copies of RE2 sold to date.

The timing also builds anticipation for the upcoming remake of Code: Veronica, slated for next year. That game follows Claire Redfield as she searches for her brother Chris, continuing the story right after RE2's events. Fans can expect a seamless transition from the current remakes to this next chapter.
