Meta is rolling out Muse for Small Business, an AI agent designed to help business owners manage their social media presence and analytics. The agent can connect to professional accounts on Facebook and Instagram, as well as advertising accounts, allowing it to provide insights and carry out tasks like ad campaigns. Meta has also added support for third-party services including Canva, Figma, Slack, Shopify, and Stripe.

If business owners connect these accounts, the agent can tackle larger goals and incorporate data from those apps. Sample prompts include analyzing financial performance, prioritizing tasks from email and calendar, and creating a growth plan based on sales and campaign data. Meta emphasizes that Muse was created with layers of privacy and security, though there is still a chance the agent could behave unpredictably.

The announcement comes one day after Meta announced a new enterprise business to sell its AI services to large firms. As with the consumer version, Muse Small Business is free for most needs, but heavier use may require a subscription.
