Dyson's new CameraJet toothbrush and water flosser was demonstrated at IFA using fake teeth. The device features a built-in camera with Gap Optical Targeting, processing 28 images per second to target jets of water between teeth. It offers both brushing and flossing modes, with the flossing function only activating when gaps are detected.

The demo showed the device works efficiently without needing frequent refills of its small water tank. The live camera feed broadcasts to a smartphone app, though Dyson assures the video is processed only on the user's device, not stored in the cloud. The CameraJet is priced significantly higher than premium competitors like Philips Sonicare or Oral-B, and Dyson's ecosystem of replacement heads, toothpaste, and mouthwash adds to the long-term cost.
