Apple has a busy fall schedule ahead for 2026, with the company's biggest quarter for launches historically falling in September and October. John Ternus, the incoming Apple CEO, will front the September event. The period leading up to the lucrative holiday shopping season makes this timing perfect for Apple's quarterly results.

The September event will feature the iPhone 18 Pro Max, described as a spec-bump update with a 2-nanometer A20 Pro chip that runs cooler and delivers more performance. Other expected features include the C2 modem and under-display Face ID. The Pro Max may also introduce a variable-aperture camera for improved bokeh effects, a dark cherry colorway, and potentially $300 price increases over iPhone 17 Pro models.

Apple's folding iPhone, potentially named iPhone Fold or iPhone Ultra, will also launch in September. Additional products expected include updated Home products and an iPad mini refresh, making this a multi-product quarter beyond just iPhones.
