Google is rolling out Gemini’s Daily Brief to free users in the U.S., removing the need for a paid Google AI Plus, Pro, or Ultra subscription. Daily Brief scans Gmail, Google Calendar, connected apps, and past Gemini chats to deliver a personalized morning digest. The feature, introduced at I/O 2026, uses Personal Intelligence to organize tasks and updates. Users can tick off items, start chats, or provide feedback. Gemini Live can also deliver the brief via voice command, and a morning notification is sent. Free access is limited to U.S. personal accounts with Personal Intelligence, Memory, and Google Workspace integration enabled. The rollout is gradual, so availability may vary. Daily Brief is accessible via Gemini mobile apps and the web. Google is reportedly developing audio versions and lock screen integration. This expansion aims to make Gemini more useful for daily routines.
