Silo’s season 3 finale is available now, and Apple TV has already announced the release date for season 4. Silo season 4 premieres July 9, 2027 as the show’s final season.

Apple TV fans are accustomed to years-long waits for new seasons of popular sci-fi series. Severance took three years for its second season, and both Severance and Pluribus will likely have gaps of two or more years for their next seasons. Today Silo debuted its season 3 finale, so normally viewers might expect a very long hiatus before new episodes arrive. But Apple has just announced that Silo season 4 will premiere on July 9, 2027.

It’s not a short wait, but the show returning in less than a year is a big win nonetheless. Here’s the first trailer for Silo season 4, with major spoilers if you haven’t finished season 3. Silo is based on the bestselling trilogy of novels by Hugh Howey. Season 4 will conclude the story of the books, and thus bring the Apple TV series to an end.
