Apple has increased prices across its iPhone lineup, with the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, and iPhone 17e each seeing a $100 jump. The iPhone 17 now starts at $899, up from $799, while the iPhone Air enters the four-digit price range at $1,099. The iPhone 17e rises to $699 from $599.

Even the iPhone 16, which was unchanged, now costs $799. These increases affect all models, including those that didn't receive updates. Apple attributes the hikes to rising component costs, particularly for RAM and storage.

The company has also discontinued the iPhone 17 Pro following the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro. Apple is splitting its release schedule, with new high-end models launching this fall and updates to the base iPhone and Air expected in spring 2027.
