GE Aerospace announced a definitive agreement to acquire Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) for $11.75 billion. The transaction strengthens GE Aerospace's position in mission-critical castings for commercial and defense engines. CPP, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, employs a global team of approximately 6,600 across more than 20 facilities.

The acquisition is expected to be accretive to adjusted EPS and free cash flow in the first year. The purchase price values CPP at approximately 18x 2027 EBITDA, including expected net synergies. The deal is anticipated to close in the second half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals.

GE Aerospace Chairman and CEO H. Lawrence Culp, Jr. stated the investment supports strong simultaneous demand across commercial engines, aftermarket, and defense. CPP CEO James Stewart expressed excitement to further strengthen the long-standing relationship with GE Aerospace.

Warburg Pincus Managing Director Dan Zamlong and Berkshire Partners Managing Director Blake Gottesman praised CPP's transformation into a leading precision casting company. The integration will leverage GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK technology to drive process and quality improvements.
