Late night hosts reacted sharply Monday after President Trump revoked White House press credentials for CNN, MS NOW and Politico, citing frustration with "negative stories." On "The Daily Show," Jon Stewart quipped that "the hottest spot in D. C. has just changed their door policy" and asked, "Have you tried presidenting better?" He added: "You could ban the press, or you could be a better [expletive] president." Jimmy Kimmel called the move "positively un-American" and noted the unusual unity among five networks, including Fox, which issued a joint statement defending press access. "Do you realize how far south somebody has to go for Fox News to defend CNN?" Kimmel said. Jimmy Fallon joked Trump "even dressed like Alan Cumming to tell them, 'You're banished from my castle.'" Hosts also mocked Trump's suggestion to rebrand artificial intelligence as "Extreme Intelligence" or "Supreme Intelligence," with Fallon comparing the names to Taco Bell menu items.
