Caroline Dubois successfully defended her WBC and WBO lightweight titles against Amelia Moore in Birmingham, keeping her clash with Alycia Baumgardner very much on track.

In just her fifth professional fight, Moore showed guts but lacked the quality to trouble her more experienced rival. Dubois, now unbeaten in 15 professional bouts with 14 wins, made light of being four inches shorter and boxed 70 more professional rounds than Moore.

The expected showdown with Baumgardner could happen next year, provided the American defeats Elif Nur Turhan in November. Both fighters traded barbs ringside, with Dubois calling out Baumgardner for stepping into "my division" during a heated post-fight exchange.

Dubois has also made major changes outside the ring, dropping trainer Shane McGuigan and relocating to Los Angeles to work with Manny Robles as she aims to elevate her career further.

Meanwhile, Terri Harper kicked off her rebuild with a dominant stoppage win over Miranda Reyes, dropping the Houston fighter twice before the referee halted the contest 47 seconds into the second round. Harper described it as one of the best performances of her career and signaled she is nowhere near retirement.
