Wycombe Wanderers have dismissed manager Michael Duff following a winless start to the League One season. The club picked up just three points from a possible 15, leaving them in the relegation zone. First-team coach Alex Morris has also departed the club.

Duff, 48, had been in charge for almost a year after replacing Michael Dodds in September 2025. Despite guiding the team to a top-half finish last term, his position became untenable after a run of poor results. Wycombe's only victory in their last 13 games across all competitions came on the final day of last season against Rotherham.

The club statement read, "The appointment of an interim head coach will follow later today." The decision comes "in light of a disappointing run of results since the spring and believes the time is right to take a new direction." Former Crewe Alexandra manager Morris joined Wycombe in October 2025 after two years on the coaching staff at Stoke City.
