Republic of Ireland international Will Ferry has put contract talks with Dundee United on hold.

Ferry, 25, is not prepared to make a decision about his future in September. He has not ruled out remaining at Tannadice beyond next summer.

Meanwhile, vice-captain Dan Neil admits Rangers "probably weren't ready for" their European fixtures earlier this season, which ultimately ended with exits from the Europa and Conference Leagues.
