TP-Link Systems Inc. today announced the availability of Archer 8 Ultra, its first Wi-Fi 8 router, marking a new generation of home connectivity focused on consistency over peak speeds. Jim Poder, Senior Vice President of R&D at TP-Link, said, "Wi-Fi 8 sets a new foundation, and we've built beyond it. Archer 8 Ultra combines our Wi-Fi 8 Stability Engine with intelligent antenna technology and AI-powered optimization."

The router is powered by Broadcom's Wi-Fi 8 chipset and delivers 19 Gbps tri-band performance, two 10 Gbps auto-sensing WAN/LAN ports, and four 2.5 Gbps LAN ports. It covers up to 3,600 sq. ft. with 18 antennas, featuring Multi-Floor Mode and Range Boost. Technologies like UEQM and NPCA improve reliability, with OTA updates adding DSO, ELR, and more. Manny Patel of Broadcom praised the collaboration, noting Wi-Fi 8's shift toward reliability.

The built-in Aireal AI Assistant in the Tether app offers Wi-Fi Optimizer, Self-Healing, QoS, and ECO Mode. Setup is simplified with NFC tap pairing. Pre-orders are now open for the Archer 8 Ultra.
