The Rochester, New York-based brewer operates out of the historic Genesee Brewery, employing over 700 people. The portfolio includes Labatt, Genesee, Seagram's Escapes, Lipton Hard Iced Tea, and Bubly Wine Refresher.

Peter Bodenham joins as chief executive, bringing more than 25 years of executive commercial experience across In Bev, NAB, and Sleeman Breweries. Rich Lozyniak, co-founder and operating partner at Saothair and former CEO of NAB from 2009 to 2014, commented on the transition, stating the focus is to provide stability and resources for employees, customers, and communities. Jenner & Block provided legal counsel to Saothair, while Heineken was represented by Sidley Austin and Bank of America as financial advisor.
