Snap spun off Specs, its AR glasses division, early this year. Now it's taking pre-orders for Specs AR glasses. These standalone glasses cost $2,195 and don't need a phone or computer.

They have a see-through display with a 51-degree field of view, dual Snapdragon processors, and a magnetic 5-pin charging interface. The TR90 frame comes in two sizes: 47mm narrow and 52mm wide. Features include voice and gesture controls, open-ear stereo speakers, six microphones, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and prescription-ready lenses.

For cellular data, you'll pay $2,395 and get an exclusive Verizon plan. Data starts at $10/month for Verizon customers or $20/month for non-customers.

The Wi-Fi-only version is expected to ship this fall. Verizon hasn't announced a date for the cellular version. We'll let you know when we find out more.
