YouTube is introducing a new lineup of YouTube TV Plans designed to give subscribers more flexibility and lower prices. The streaming service is splitting its offerings into 10+ tailored plans across Sports, News, Entertainment, and Family categories, with prices ranging from $11 to $28 below the standard $82.99 monthly subscription. New subscribers will receive promotional discounts for the first three months to a year, while existing customers can downgrade to more affordable options.

The new plans include a Sports Plan at $64.99 per month ($54.99 for new subscribers) featuring major broadcasters and sports networks, a Sports + News Plan at $71.99 per month ($56.99 for new subscribers) adding news channels, an Entertainment Plan at $54.99 per month ($44.99 for new subscribers) with content from FX, Bravo, and Food Network, and a News + Entertainment + Family Plan at $69.99 per month ($59.99 for new subscribers) including family-friendly channels like Disney and Nickelodeon. All plans retain YouTube TV's unlimited DVR and six-member sharing capabilities, with optional add-ons like NFL Sunday Ticket and HBO Max available.

This move comes as YouTube TV's pricing has more than doubled since its 2017 launch at $35 per month, with the most recent increase in December 2024 raising the price from $72.99 to $82.99 monthly. The new plans are rolling out starting this week across devices including Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad, offering consumers more choice in how they access live television content.
