Valve has rolled out a native Steam Link app for the Apple Vision Pro, letting users stream Mac and PC titles to the headset via TestFlight.

The update, posted by Sam Lantinga on Steam Community, supports up to 4K resolution and displays games as a large 2‑D screen that users can curve in panoramic mode. It relays controller input back to the host machine in real time.

While the app still streams only 2‑D gameplay, it marks a step toward full VR support on the Vision Pro. Current VR streams rely on third‑party solutions like ALVR, but Valve’s entry could prompt faster adoption of native VR protocols.

Overall, the move expands the Vision Pro’s game library and offers a smoother, lower‑latency experience for gamers who already own a Steam library.
