We're less than two months from the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max launch in September 2026, part of Apple's new two-phase rollout. The devices will largely retain the iPhone 17 Pro design with 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, though the Pro Max may be thicker and heavier at 243 grams to accommodate a larger 5,567mAh battery (U.S. rating). The Dynamic Island could shrink roughly 35% to 13.5mm wide, though under-display Face ID remains uncertain.

Display upgrades include LTPO+ panels from Samsung and LG for better power efficiency. The A20 Pro chip, built on TSMC's 2nm process with wafer-level packaging, promises 15% speed gains and 30% better efficiency. Apple may debut its C2 modem internationally while U.S. models retain Qualcomm. Camera improvements feature a Samsung-made three-layer stacked sensor and a variable aperture lens on the main camera—a first for iPhone. Other rumored changes include 5G satellite internet, a simplified Camera Control button, new colors (light blue, dark cherry, dark gray, silver), and iOS 27 with Siri AI running on 12GB RAM.
