However, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts only 9GB of RAM, which could limit some Apple Intelligence features. Pu and Kuo agree that the lower-cost iPhone 18e will have 9GB of RAM. Both models are expected to be powered by the A20 chip.

Additionally, Pu claims the regular iPhone 18 will have a narrower Dynamic Island. While most rumors about a smaller Dynamic Island focused on Pro models, leaker Ice Universe also expects it across the entire iPhone 18 lineup. The RAM and Dynamic Island upgrades bring pro-level features to the base model, though conflicting reports leave some uncertainty.
