Apple has accidentally revealed the name of its upcoming lower-cost MacBook model, with a regulatory document for the MacBook Neo (Model A3404) briefly appearing on Apple's website. The leak occurred on Apple's regulatory site for EU compliance purposes, though the PDF file itself didn't contain the name. Apple quickly removed the link shortly after publication.

This budget-friendly MacBook is expected to feature an iPhone chip like the A18 Pro or A19 Pro instead of Apple's M-series processors, along with a 12.9-inch display. Rumors suggest it will come in colorful options including yellow, green, blue, and pink, positioning it below the MacBook Air in Apple's lineup. Price estimates range from $599 to $799.

Apple plans to showcase the MacBook Neo at "Apple Experience" events in New York, London, and Shanghai this Wednesday at 9 a.m. Eastern Time. Unlike traditional Apple Events, there will be no live stream, with press releases expected on the Apple Newsroom website following hands-on demonstrations.
